In 1991, it becomes a felt need of the province to find out a residence for our sisters who were on the non-teaching staff of S.H.College Thevara.  Till then they were residing in the port Trust hospital Quarters with the sisters who were working in the Hospital.  Consequently on the retirement of those sisters, they had to give up the quarters The Provincial superior Rev.Sr.Lisieux Mary took initiative to buyht a house near the college and started a convent there.  It was blessed on April 22nd 1992.  The 1st superior of this convent was Rev.Sr.Pius Maria.  The patron of this convent is our Mother St.Clare
